Our Hygienists

Kim is a native of the Bay Area, a true San Franciscan. She received her dental hygiene training from Chabot College in Hayward, CA. She continued her studies and received her alternative practice license from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. This allows her to practice hygiene unsupervised to reach the underserved and special needs communities. She has been practicing hygiene since 1998 throughout the bay area. When she isn't working she is enjoying time with her husband and taking care of her family. She has many interests, having a love of knitting, travel, photography, food and baking.

“Lucy” is a native Bay Area Californian, born and raised in Oakland, CA. She is a graduate of California State University, East Bay, with a degree in Health Science. Lucy received her dental hygiene training at Diablo Valley College and has been a practicing registered dental hygienist for over 15 years. She is a member of the East Bay Dental Hygiene Society and the California Dental Hygiene Association. Lucy has been married for almost 25 years and has three beautiful sons. She indulges in her embarrassing guilty pleasure of reality TV and balances the silliness with PBS timepieces such as Downton Abbey, The Crown, and Belgravia. She loves to travel to fun beach locations with friends and family, large ship cruising and visits amusement parks in her free time.

We were so lucky to meet Maida during the pandemic of 2020 and she joined our practice shortly after. She is CA board certified and licensed since 1986. A returning Berkeley native after 20 plus years of country living in Ojai working at UCSB and in private practice, while raising 3 awesome children, 9 rescue dogs, 4 cats, and 10 hens. She experienced first hand the fear of  dentistry as a young person coming from a low preventive dental IQ family with great dental needs. She has taken that experience to become mindful of paying it forward. She not only caters to cowards but understands there is always a story and a person behind a patient and their oral condition. She is fueled by the rich connections of patients and the dental family and keeps joyful as a practitioner with continued education, knowledge and the implementation of new technologies to hygiene treatment and maintenance. She is always looking forward and looks forward to the pleasure of co managing patient care and sharing life stories!

Leen is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 24 years of experience and a strong commitment to
patient education and preventive care. She is a graduate of San Joaquin Valley College in
Visalia, where she completed the dental hygiene program at the top of her class, maintaining a
4.0 GPA.


Leen is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between oral health and
overall wellness. She takes pride in building lasting relationships and creating a comfortable,
supportive experience through personalized care, learning, and education.

Veronica is a licensed dental hygienist with a strong foundation in dentistry. She earned her
dental degree from the University of Culiacán in Mexico, where she began her career practicing
dentistry. After relocating to the Bay Area, Veronica continued her professional journey by
completing the Dental Hygiene program at Chabot College and obtaining her dental hygiene
license in the United States.

Veronica is passionate about patient care and brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to her
work through her experience as both a dentist and a dental hygienist. Outside of the office, she
enjoys cooking, taking walks, and gardening with her husband. She also loves traveling,
exploring new foods, and—most of all—spending quality time with family and friends.
